What I won't draw

• Relating to nsfw artwork, it is a case-by-case basis; however, the following below for sure art not allowed.

• Adult x minor

• Minor x minor in a sexual context

• Spicy art of minors or characters that are "400 years old" yet are clearly mentally depicted as being a minor.

• Hate art

  • Racism​

  • Hate against any religion

  • Politics

  • Sexism

  • Hate against the Lgbtq+

  • Etc.

• Anything that involves the glorification or justification of varying forms of abuse (physical, sexual, mental).

If you are uncertain if what you are hoping to commission me for counts as too nsfw, feel free to message me about it.

What Counts as a Complicated Character?

• Characters with complex clothing (Genshin Impact's characters is a good example)

• Additional heads (will count as the additional headshot price)

• Additional appendages such as arms or wings sometimes will cost extra depending on the art piece.

• Items the character is holding (such as a staff or instrument)

Note: If I am permitted to copy and paste additional heads/appendages, the complicated character fee will be reduced if not completely removed.

 

General Information

All my artwork will contain my signature/watermark, and this may not be removed.

Unless if otherwise requested, I will post all commissions on my social media along with a speed paint (making sure to properly credit ownership of the characters in the drawing). 

Prices may change; however, if I change the prices while working on a commission for you, the price of the commission that I am working on will not change.

I have the right to reject any commission that I am not comfortable with for whatever reason.

Payment

​

Payment will be made via Paypal, and I accept USD. 

Commissions can be paid either 100% upfront or split 50% upfront and 50% before full quality final product is sent.

Process and Delivery

​

I will notify you when I have started on your commission, and you, therefore, lose the rights to a refund.

While I'm working on your commission, I will be sure to send work in progress (wip) photos in order to ensure the commission is turning out the way that you want.

The number of wips depends on the complexity of the work.

Once I finish the drawing, I will send you a full resolution image via discord or email (Instagram ruins image quality.)

Turn Around Time

​

The amount of time that it will take me to complete the commission varies depending on the complexity of the piece, my health, real life circumstances, etc. 

The excepted turnaround time for more simple pieces is 7-14 days; at least a month will be needed for very complicated pieces with several characters. (I will notify you in advance how long I expect the piece to take.)

Note: I may finish the drawing earlier than expected without charging you extra; however, this is not guaranteed.

Rushed Artwork

​

If you desire for a commissioned piece to be guaranteed to be finished within a small time frame, an additional fee will be charged depending on the amount of time provided plus the complexity of the piece.

The cost of the rushed fee will vary, but it starts at 20%. Anything with a deadline less than a week automatically will get the rushed fee.

I will only accept this if I feel that I have the time and energy available.

The entirety of the initial payment plus the entire additional rushed artwork payment must be paid before I begin.

I will only provide a review of the initial sketch in order to save time.

Revisions

​

3 revisions are provided for the initial sketch/line art.

Once the line art is approved, any additional revisions to the line art it will cost extra, depending on the complexity of the revision. 3 minor revisions are also permitted during the coloring and shading process.

Bulk Purchases

​

Discounts will be provided for those that order several commission pieces at once (2 minimum and no cap as long as I can reasonably complete it within the provided time frame). The larger the amount, the higher the discount; the discount caps at 40% off for very large bulk orders (10+).

For bulk orders, I will work on 1-3 at the same time, providing the usual updates as long as the deadline is not rushed. 

As usual, at least 50% must be paid upfront before I start (plus one of the drawings must be paid in full). If the amount seems too hefty to pay at once, we can discuss payment methods, but keep in mind I will not start any drawings that are not at least 50% paid. Plus, I will not send the finished version of each individual drawing unless if the other 50% is paid for that particular drawing.

Copyright/Usage Policy

​

I, Darkweaver_Pixie (the artist), claim the rights to the produced drawing, not the buyer. Therefore, I am allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to:

• Promote myself with it everywhere

• Publish books with it (artbooks, etc.)

• Display it everywhere to my liking (website, social media, etc.)

• Post it wherever I want

 

The buyer is allowed to:

• Use the commissioned piece for personal use unless agreed otherwise (you can upload it on all your social media profiles, forums, etc.)

• Print the artwork and claim the character(s) as their own, but not the artwork itself.

• Use the artwork to promote themselves. You are not forced to give me credit when you post it, but it is very appreciated.

• Use the artwork on their YouTube channel and in monetized videos as long as the artwork itself is not the main subject for the earnings.

• Sell the artwork for the original price purchased if used for an adoptable (please discuss this with me prior).

 

The following is considered copyright infringement:

• Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially - means making money off it in any way.

• Claiming the artwork as your own

• Removing my signature from the artwork

• Altering the artwork without my consent

• Feeding the artwork to an AI.

I reserve the full rights to the image and its use/distribution unless otherwise agreed upon (rights to the image for your own non-personal use may be purchased at any time).

Customer Satisfaction

My goal is to make you, the consumer, happy with the artwork that I will be providing.

As stated before, if you're uncomfortable with me posting the commission I completed for you on social media, please let me know.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

​

The buyer is not allowed to have a refund once I begin the commission. 

If for some reason I am unable to start the commission, I will provide a refund.

Blacklisting

​

You will be blacklisted if you attempt to violate any of my terms of service. This includes being blocked along with me notifying other artists in the community.
